Abthane of Dule. Lay abbot o f Dunkeld. Steward of the Western Isles. Mormaer of Atholl. He was kil led fighting King Macbeth. The Annals of Ulster record that "Cróná n abbot of Dún Caillen" was killed in 1045 in "a battle between the S cots themselves" [1].
