Her parentage is recorde d by Orderic Vitalis, who also records her marriage and names her tw o sons and indicates she had "several daughters" without naming them [ 1]. Guillaume de Jumièges records that Judith daughter of Waltheof an d his wife married "Raoul de Ternois" [2]. Ingulph's Chronicle of th e Abbey of Croyland records the marriage of Alice younger daughter o f Judith and "Rodolph de Tournay", her dowry being "the lordship of Wi lchamstowe" [3]. She inherited Walthamstow, Essex [4]. “Aliz de Toen i” donated "ecclesiam de Welcomstowe" to “ecclesiæ S. Trinitati s Lond.”, for the soul of “Hugonis de Toeni filii mei qui ibidem j acet sepultus… Radulphi de Toeni mariti mei… et pro incolumitate f iliorum meorum Rogeri de Toeni et Simonis et filiæ meæ Isabellæ", b y undated charter [5].
