Rodulfu s Glaber states that "Landrico Neuernis comite" was married to the old est daughter of "Willemus, Henrici ducis priuignus, Adalberti Longobar dorum ducis filius" & his wife, when recording that Comte Landry suppo rted his father-in-law in the latter's rebellion against the king [Rob ert II] [1]. She is named in the charter dated to [1028/40] under whic h "Rainaldus… comes" donated property "in pago Nevernense… Belmont is" to Cluny for the souls of "patris mei Landrici et matris mee Matil dis…" [2]. Her father gave her Nevers, which she brought as dowry t o her husband. The necrology of Auxerre cathedral records the death 1 3 Dec of "Mathildis comitissa, Landrici coniux" [3]. m ([989] [4]) LAN DRY [IV] de Monceau.
