| Nota | http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/BURGUNDIAN%20NOBILITY.htm ERMENGARD E de Tonnerre ([1023/26]-before 1090). “Rainaldus comes” donated p roperty to the monastery of Saint-Michel, for the soul of “filii me i Othonis” buried in the monastery and “uxore mea Herviz… fili o nostro Arduyno ac filia Ermengarda”, by charter dated Jul 1036 [1] . Her birth date is estimated from her marriage in [1039], combined wi th the fact that she was still not of marriageable age in 1036. “Ray nardus comes” donated property to the monastery of Saint-Michel (o n his deathbed), with the consent of “uxoris mee Herviz et filii me i Harduini sive filie mee Ermengarde”, by charter dated 16 Jul 103 9 which also names “mater mea Ermengardis” [2]. Her marriage is re ferred to in the Gesta pontificum [3]. She succeeded as Ctss de Tonner re in 1065 when her cousin Comte Hugues-Rainard became bishop of Langr es [4]. [1] Yonne, Tome I, XC, p. 171.
