" In 1212, he was in possession of his lands in Lincolnshire, and in 1 219, he was a commissioner in Staffordshire. In 1222, 1227 and 1231, h e made various claims in Cretingham and Elford, Suffolk. He made a gra nt of pasture in Saltney to the monks of Dieulacres. He married Nichol e, who survived him.
