A manuscript history of the Lacy fami ly records that “Albreda vel Aubreia, filia Roberti Lisours, soror e x parte matris” succeeded on the death of “Robertus Lacy” and th at she married “Richardus constabularius Cestriæ” [1]. ''Domesda y Descendants'' records her second marriage but does not cite the corr esponding primary source [2]. Her third marriage is confirmed by the c harter dated 12 Nov 1177 under which the Templars and “Radulfum fili um Stephani” settled a dispute concerning “unam carucatam terre i n Roueston” which “Galfridus de Cauz” had given to “Albrede d e Lisuriis uxori sue in dotem” and “terram que fuit Roberti fratri s Gaufridi de Cauz in Ruueston” [3]. "Willelmus filius Godrici" pai d a fine for his marriage with "matre Johannis constabularii" in 117 8 [4]. A charter dated 1194 records a final agreement relating to a di spute between “Albredam de Lisores et Rogerum constabularium Cestri e nepotem suum” concerning the land of “Roberti de Lasci”, als o naming “Roberti de Lisores patris ipsius Albrede” and “Willelm us filius prefate Albrede” [5].
