"Baderon" dona ted "villam Beren cum filia sua" to the abbey of Saint-Georges de Renn es, with the consent of "Guillelmo eius filio" and in the presence o f "Rivalloni filii Johannis, Radulphi Filicensis", by undated charter , witnessed by "Alanus filius Flaaldi…" [1]. “Wihenocus de Monemue ” founded the church “in castro meo de Monemue”, and donated i t to the monastery of Saint-Florent de Saumur, by undated charter witn essed by "Baderon frater meus, Willielmus Yvin, Robertus, Paganus, Ywe n Troue filii Baderonis…" [2]. A charter dated 4 Feb [1075/86] recor ds the confirmation by William I King of England of a donation to Saum ur Saint-Florent by "Wethenocus de Monmouth", witnessed by "Alano comi te et Baderono fratre Wethenoci et ipso Wethenoco…" [3]. “Badero n de Monemue” donated property in Monmouth to Monmouth Priory, wit h the consent of “filiorum meorum Gileberti et Jacobi”, by undate d charter witnessed by "…Waltero Marmiun…" [4]. He predeceased hi s brother Wethenoc as shown by the charter under which his brother, to gether with Baderon´s son William, donated Monmouth priory to Saint-F lorent de Saumur. m ---.
