EBERHARD, son of [EHRENFRIED Gra f von Bliesgau, Comte de Charpeigne & his wife Adelgunde ---] (-afte r 937). Eberhard is shown in ''Europäische Stammtafeln'' [ES I.2 200 ] as the son of Ehrenfried & his wife, but the primary source which co nfirms his parentage has not yet been identified. Flodoard records that Heinric h I King of Germany sent "Ebrardus quidam Transrhenensis" to "regnum L otharii" to re-establish peace [''Flodoardi Annales'' 926, MGH SS III , pp. 376-7], although it is not certain to which Eberhard this refers . "Alfuuinus ac… coniux mea Ada" donated property "… in Kuningessu ndere in comitatu Euerhardi comitis in villa Birgidesstal…" to the U rsulastift in Köln by charter dated 12 Mar 927, signed by "… Euerha rdi comitis, Adalhardi comitis…" [''Niederrheins Urkundenbuch'', Ban d I, 87, p. 47]. "Gysalbertus dux rectorque S. Traiectenses ecclesie " donated property "Gulisam… in pago [Ardunensi] in comitatu Everhar di" to Trier by charter dated 928, subscribed by "Walgeri comitis, Thi edrici comitis, Cristiani comitis, Folcoldi comitis" [''Mittelrheinisc hes Urkundenbuch'', I, 169, p. 233]. m ---.
