Wegener cites a s ource dated [1095] which names "Otto filius Ekihardi" [nQ 5, 327 n 147 8, cited in Wegener (1965/67), p. 248]. The ''Chronicon Schirense'' na mes "Otto et Oudalricus fraters de Schyren" specifying "postea castru m Wittelenspech possederunt" [''Chounradi, Chronicon Schirense'' 13, M GH SS XVII, p. 619]. It is possible that she was named Kunig unde, as the necrology of Undensdorf records the death "IV Id Jul" o f "Chunegunt com" [''Necrologium Undensdorfense'', Freising Necrologie s, p. 172]. This necrology records almost exclusively members of the W ittelsbach family and this entry cannot be linked to any other known p erson in the family. |
