"Chuonradus…Roman orum imperator augustus" donated property to the church of Worms namin g "filii nostri Heinrici Regis, filie quoque nostre Beatricis" for th e souls of "parentum nostrorum defunctorum atavi nostri ducis Chuonrad i, avie nostre Iudithe, patris nostri Heinrici, patrui nostri ducis Ch uonradi eiusque coniugis Mathildis, sororis etiam nostre Iudithe", al l buried at Worms Cathedral, by charter dated 30 Jan 1034 [D K II 204 , p. 275]. As all the relatives mentioned were members of Emperor Konr ad's direct agnatic family, it is unlikely that Judith was her mother' s daughter by her second marriage. |
