The sa me source records the death "apud curtim suam Zurbowo" of "soror domin i palatine Ouda" about the same time as the death of her brother and h er burial in Goseck monastery, specifying that her real name was "Hila ria, sed quia lingua Teuthonica…nomen mutavit Ouda" [''Chronicon Goz ecense'' I.21, MGH SS X, p. 148]. The ''Genealogica Wettinensis'' name s "Adelbertum archiepiscopum, Dedonem et Fridericum palatinos comites , et filiam nomine Odam quam Adelbertus quidam nobilis cognominatus Se veke de Sumerschenburc accepit uxorem" as children of "Friderico comit i" & his wife Agnes [''Genealogica Wettinensis'', MGH SS XXIII, p. 227 ], although as noted above it incorrectly identifies the origin of Agn es. |
