He succeeded his father as Comte de Ma ntes. Comte d'Amiens. "Droco comes Ambianensium" donated property to " Sancti Petri Gismoensis" by undated charter, signed by "Droconis comit is, Eotde comitissæ, Falconis fratris comitis, Rodulfi filiii comitis , Gualterii alterius filii…" [2]. He accompanied Robert II Duke of N ormandy to Jerusalem and died on the journey [3]. According to Orderi c Vitalis, Henri I King of France took back the Vexin after the deat h of Comte Drogo [4].
