http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/BURGUNDY%20KINGS.htm#_Toc221496778#E S Herimannus names "filiam Counradi regis Burgundiæ, Gerbirgam" as w ife of "Herimannus dux" [''Herimanni Augiensis Chronicon'' 998, MHG S S V, p. 118]. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "Rodul fum II et sororem suam Gepam matrem imperatricis Gisile" as children o f "Conradus rex Burgundie" and his wife Mathilde [''Chronica Albrici M onachi Trium Fontium'' 986, MGH SS XXIII, p. 773]. Wipo names "Heriman nus dux Alamanniæ [et] Kerbirga filia Chuonradi regis de Burgundia" a s the parents of "regis coniunx Gisela" [Wiponis, ''Vita Chuonradi I I Imperatoris'' 4, MGH SS XI, p. 261]. "Otto…Romanorum imperator aug ustus" donated property "in villa Stohchusen in pago Locdorp ac comita tu Herimanni comitis" to Kloster Meschede by charter dated 29 Sep 99 7 by request of "Gerbirge comitisse" [D O III 254, p. 670]. These two references re late to Hermann [II] Graf von Werl. In addition, "Rodulfus et Bernhard us nati in…Werla" are named as brothers of Empress Gisela in the ''A nnalista Saxo'', although not specifying that they were her uterine br others [''Annalista Saxo'' 1026].
